B.A. History
Loyola University Chicago

Bio:

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I decided to give up the sun-kissed beaches for the Windy City, where I studied history at Loyola University Chicago (Go Ramblers!). My interest in higher education sparked during my undergraduate experience at Loyola, where I held peer mentorship roles in study abroad, academic advising, and student leadership development. More recently, I spent a year teaching English at an elementary school in Barcelona, Spain. However, a career in higher education always seemed like the right fit for me, and I couldn’t be more excited to be helping prospective students achieve their goals!

Why USC?

USC offers a plethora of programs and opportunities that will fit any student’s personal, academic, and professional goals. With nearly a thousand clubs and organizations on campus there’s really no shortage of opportunities. USC’s unique geographic location in Los Angeles also makes it ideal for students who want to partake in an internship downtown, visit some of the city’s most renowned museums, or even take a quick train ride to the beach. And what’s not to love about the year-round sunshine in LA?

Admission Advice:

Be yourself! Your college application, especially the personal statement, is the best way for the admission counselor to get to know you as a student and as a person.
While your test scores and grades are important, make sure your personality also shines through the application!
