Student Leaders Wanted for Orientation: Summer 2026 and Spring 2027

The Office of Orientation Programs is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate Trojans to join our 2026 Orientation Leader cohort! This is a paid position and includes free summer housing in university apartments, as well as coverage of the summer Student Health Fee.

Orientation Leaders are vital for the university, assisting new students and families in their transition to USC and the Trojan Family. As an Orientation Leader, you will have the chance to build community with a team of peer student leaders, expand your résumé, and develop strong leadership and communication skills.

Spring training for this position begins Saturday, March 28, 2026, with our Kick-Off Retreat, and continues for four Fridays until April 24, 2026. Training times are from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Summer Intensive Training begins Thursday, May 28, 2026. Online and in-person orientation programming will take place in June and July, with additional responsibilities at the start of the fall semester. Summer housing for this position begins Wednesday, May 27, 2026, and ends Saturday, August 1, 2026.

Orientation Leaders also work Winter Orientation programming during November, December and January for our incoming spring admits. Specific dates will be available when the application opens on Monday, January 12, 2026.
