Bio:

I’m originally from Guanajato, Mexico y soy Orgullosamente Mexicana. I grew up in the Bay Area in Richmond, California but my heart was taken away by the city and people of Los Angeles. After graduating High School I moved to the central coast to Santa Barbara where I pursued my undergraduate degree at UC Santa Barbara. My career path has allowed me the opportunity to work with high school students, scholarship organizations and with the Office of Admissions at UC Santa Barbara. This along with my own path of being a first generation student that had to traverse through the complicated journey of graduating a 4 year University, has allowed me to have an fundamental understanding of the concerns and questions that students and their parents may have towards the application process and succeeding at a higher education institution.
