Explore Los Angeles
You will find USC located in the heart of a dynamic metropolis, now one of the top 20 economies in the world. The city comprises a vibrant international population in which 100 nationalities and 200 spoken languages are represented.
USC is proud to support our surrounding community, and invites students to join our efforts through initiatives such as the Joint Educational Project and the Good Neighbors Campaign. These programs expand access to educational opportunities, promote health and wellness, and provide workforce training to area residents. Students also enjoy free admission to the museums of Exposition Park, benefiting from the neighborhood’s abundant cultural resources.
The USC Career Center connects students with service learning and internship opportunities throughout Los Angeles. It also helps prepare students for the careers of their dreams through workshops, mentoring, and hosting the more than 750 companies that recruit on campus every year.
Recreational Activities
Outside the classroom, students can learn, play or simply relax in numerous entertainment and cultural venues and recreational areas. The region’s beaches, mountains and deserts are less than a day’s drive away, allowing students to take part in a wide range of outdoor activities – everything from surfing to hiking to skiing. Just two miles from campus is the heart of Downtown, offering everything from museums and event spaces to cuisines from around the world.
