Meet USC Tour Program
Designed especially for high school juniors, seniors in their fall semester, and their families, this program introduces you to USC’s admission process, academic opportunities and campus life.
Includes:
• Admission presentation led by an admission counselor (1 hour).
• Campus walking tour led by a current USC student (90 minutes).
• Academic department information session selected by the student* (1 hour).
*Departmental visits are based on availability and subject to change. If necessary, we will make every effort to contact you to either reschedule or meet with another department.
Duration: 3.5 Hours
Offered: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 8:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.
Housing Tour Information:

Campus Tour Programs
Campus walking tours give prospective students and their families a look into the life of USC students, including academics, campus resources, residential life, athletics and much more. Tours are led by current students who share their stories while presenting an overview of the university.
Each campus tour is preceded by an optional, half-hour presentation from one of our admission counselors, covering undergraduate admission and financial aid at USC. This program is ideal for prospective students with parties no larger than five (5) total guests. Parties with more than seven (7) total guests should request a group tour described below.

• Optional admission presentation for first-year students (30 minutes)
• Campus walking tour led by a current USC student (90 minutes)
Duration: 2 hours
Offered: Monday – Friday. Reservations are required.
Transfer applicants who wish to listen to an admission presentation are encouraged to sign up for our weekly Transfer Information Sessions.

Discover USC Open House
Join us on campus for our full-day Discover USC Open House. Designed especially for high school juniors, seniors in their fall semester, and their families.
Includes: Admission and financial aid information sessions, academic information sessions, campus walking tours and student panels.
Duration: All day.
This full-day event will give you and your family a firsthand glimpse at life at USC. Meet with admission and academic department representatives, attend student panels and tour the campus. Find out all that USC has to offer.

Transfer Programs
Welcome! We encourage prospective transfer students to visit campus and we offer programs designed especially to help you get to know USC. Please read below to learn more about Transfer Days and Transfer Information Sessions.
Transfer Days
Typically offered once in September, October, November and January, Transfer Day is a half-day comprehensive program designed to give you an in-depth look at the transfer process and academic life at USC. Specifically, the program includes the following:

• Campus walking tour led by a current USC student (50 minutes)
• Financial Aid Presentation (60 minutes)

Transfer Day programs will be on the following dates:
- Friday, September 6, 2019
- Friday, October 11, 2019
- Friday, November 8, 2019
- Friday, January 17, 2020
Duration: 3-4 Hours
If any of our Transfer Day programs are full, please consider attending one of our weekly Transfer Information Sessions.
While designed for individual students and their guests, Community College groups are encouraged to request a group visit by filling out this form. Please indicate in the comments that you are interested in attending Transfer Day. Please submit your request as soon as possible, as we have limited availability to accommodate groups at Transfer Days.
Transfer Information Sessions
Led by a USC admission counselor, these one-hour sessions are designed to help prepare students to transfer to USC. You should attend this session as soon as you know you are interested in the university. The presentation includes information about the application process, transfer course selection, transfer credit policy, academics and financial aid. Reservations are required.

Duration: 1 Hour
Offered: Most Tuesdays at 3:15 p.m.
If Transfer Information Sessions are unavailable during your campus visit, please consider signing up for a Campus Tour, which includes an optional 30-minute presentation about USC and the application process.
Group Tour Programs
USC welcomes groups from schools and other organizations to visit the campus and learn more about the university. Groups will be led on a 45-minute walking tour by a student tour guide. Tours cover USC academics, student life, athletics, history and more. Optional ½ hour presentations may be offered to 11th grade, 12th grade, and transfer groups based on availability of classrooms and presenters.
Duration: 45 minutes
Offered: Three tours per day on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours are available Monday–Friday.
Policies and Exceptions:
Tours are not typically offered on Saturdays and Sundays. If you would like to visit campus on these days, please call (213) 740-6605 to have a self-guided tour map mailed to you, or download the Self-Guided Tour.
Priority reservations are given to students in ninth grade or above. To learn more about alternative visit programs for younger students, please contact us at 213-740-6605 or visit tommystours.usc.edu.
Group Tour Policies
We can accommodate a maximum of 60 guests per group. For every 20 people on a tour, we must allocate one tour guide. Therefore, groups larger than 20 will be split into smaller groups. Group Tours are provided in the English language. Please let us know if a specific language is preferred, and we will do our best to match an available tour guide with your group. Otherwise, please provide a translator throughout your visit.
All group tours will be reduced throughout March and April to accommodate other campus visit programs.

This guided tour through USC’s University Park Campus includes a detailed walking route, as well as descriptions of significant buildings and landmarks. Also featured are the various cafes and eateries where you can grab a quick bite to eat or enjoy full-service dining. To round out your visit to USC, you will want to check out the lists of local attractions in neighboring Exposition Park and Downtown L.A.
