Bio

I was born and raised in Los Angeles by a Mexican mother and Nicaraguan father, and spent most of my upbringing in the small Southeast LA city of Cudahy. I was the first to attend and graduate from college and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Biola University. My goal was to become a civil engineer, but I found myself working in and enjoying the world of higher education. I worked at Biola for three years as an outreach recruiter and then worked as an outreach representative at a VFX, games and animation school in Hollywood named Gnomon. Outside of work, I enjoy going to Dodgers games, staying active, watching movies with my friends, and eating all the yummy food Southern California has to offer.
