Bio:

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and I feel like I love it more and more every day – there’s always something to do, a concert to go to, a hiking trail to discover, or new food to try, among many other things. My personal favorites are Dodgers games, hiking up to the Griffith Observatory, and laying out in a park or on a beach with a good book. I started working in education while I was in college, which led to the discovery of my passion for working with students. I strongly believe all students should have the opportunity to attend college.

Why USC?

USC is a very exciting place to be. Not only is it an incredibly beautiful campus, but the opportunities for intellectual growth and student involvement are endless – our students do it all! However, the most unique thing about USC is its culture; there is a great sense of community and school pride here.

Admission Advice:

College is about fit. The schools you apply to should reflect your interests and personality. And don’t be afraid to show that personality! Instead of telling us about what you think we want to hear, don’t be afraid to be yourself and to showcase your unique experiences. The personal statement is my favorite piece of the application because it allows you to do just that.
