Dr. Joseph Medicine Crow Leadership Scholarship

Selection Criteria

Competitive candidates will be at the top of our applicant pool with respect to academic achievement. Emphasis is placed on strong leadership qualities and a commitment to service, scholarship, engagement with, or an interest in pursuing a career that serves the Native American, Alaska Native and/or Native Hawaiian communities. The scholarship is named for and honors the legacy of the first member of the Apsáalooke (Crow) tribe to earn a master’s degree, which was conferred by USC. This award ensures that future generations have the opportunity to make lasting contributions to academia and the global community. Open to all students, this scholarship supports students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a commitment to community engagement. Eligibility is open to all applicants who meet the criteria, without respect to racial or ethnic background.
