Bio

I was born and raised in South Los Angeles. As the story goes, I wanted to experience the world and leave home so I ended up in West Los Angeles, where I earned my bachelor’s degree from UCLA. My time was enriched by the community I built with peers, internships, and hands-on work experiences. I joined USC’s PASA (Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs) program to deepen my work in college access and student affairs. As a first-generation college student, I know first-hand how important support systems are — my college counselor, mentors, and parents were crucial in navigating the college application process. Now, I’m passionate about being a source of support for students as they pursue their own educational journeys.
