Bio:
Born and raised in Southern California, I don’t think anything beats hiking the mountains in the morning and surfing the beaches in the afternoon. After spending my college years in North Carolina, the lure of the West Coast was too much, and I returned home. After some time teaching second grade, I found myself at a boarding high school, working in admission and running a boys dormitory, where I found a passion for helping guide students as they discover their own interests and passions. I’m thrilled to be at USC, where I can continue to guide students as they search for the right place to begin the next chapter of their lives.
Why USC?
USC has the global resources of the large university it is, coupled with a close-knit community feeling of a much smaller school. Surround that with the global city of Los Angeles, and USC students are able to challenge themselves knowing they will be supported throughout the process.
Advice:
You do you. Something that worked for a friend or a sibling might not feel right for you. Be yourself, and let your flag fly!
