Springing into USC

Roslyn Heights, New York
Major: Global Health

Priya’s biggest concern about enrolling at USC in the spring semester was being able to make friends. She worried that the transition to campus life would be harder in the spring than it is the fall. However, the fellow students she met on Spring Move-In Day are still some of her best friends.

“I would say I have a thriving social life at USC and [don’t] feel as if it were impacted negatively by starting a semester later… We’re constantly meeting new people on campus.”

“There are so many alternate options of what to do in the fall [as a spring admit]. Most of my friends went to community college to get GEs out of the way…or traveled abroad. I…was excited to take the time off from school to work and gain real-life experience close to home in New York City.”
