Exploring the arts

Because USC is a top-tier research institution, it might be easy to assume that students do not have many opportunities to explore the arts. However, Matthew has found that USC allows students the freedom to not only pursue the arts, but to excel in them as well. He has been able to work with arts instructors who are leaders in their fields, who contribute their own original research to existing bodies of knowledge, and who share new approaches to art, allowing their students to grow as artists.
