California – South Bay (Los Angeles)

I was born and raised in sunny Southern California in Garden Grove. Ironically, I grew up dreaming of attending college in Los Angeles, but after being a Southern California girl all my life, I thought transferring was the perfect time to get out and explore a new place- the Bay Area. Although I loved the Bay for all it offered, I chose to return back to the sun and warmth to be closer to family after graduating. Higher education has always been extremely important within my household. Seeing my parents cross oceans to allow my sister and me to receive a better education for more opportunities drove my passion in the field of higher education; therefore, I want to continue being an advocate for all communities striving to gain college admission. Asides from being an admission counselor, I love staying active, adventuring, listening and making music, and most importantly, eating! You can always find me snacking. My motto is simple: think in years, live in days.

Why USC?
USC is a place filled with endless opportunities. Coming into the Trojan family as a golden bear, the spirit of the Trojan family is something that really speaks for itself.

Admission Advice:
Don’t be afraid; the college search process may be intimidating at first, but stay hungry, be curious, and keep an open mind.
