I was born and raised in The Bronx, N.Y. and am a proud POSSE Scholar! I was able to work at my alma mater for six years in their admissions office, which exposed me to this ever-evolving world of undergraduate admissions. While there, I traveled all over Southern California and just felt so much at home all those many travel seasons. Who would have thought that a TRUE New Yorker would love California? Nevertheless, to be able to now call Southern California home is truly the song title from “New York to California.”

Why USC?
I always trust my gut and when I stepped on this campus, I just knew I had to be here. Laugh if you must, but I feel at peace here! The spirit, the pride, the electricity and space to be as you are, makes USC a place for me. Plus, let’s be honest, there is something about that California sun glowing on the red brick that makes it hard not to love!

Admission Advice:
Take it day by day. This process is not about my interests and wants; this is about you! Don’t worry about what you think I may want to see or hear. My job is to meet you where you are, not make you what you have yet to be!
