Bio:

I’m originally from western Massachusetts, so my move to Boston felt like a big jump from my small town. After eight years in Boston, including my college years, I was ready for a change of scenery and took a leap of faith moving to Southern California. Having worked in higher education for over a decade, I find fulfillment helping students on their path to college, with the belief that there’s a perfect fit for every student. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my free time indoor rock climbing, hiking, doing yoga, or picking up a new creative hobby!

Admission Advice:

Many students ask what types of essays really stand out, and there is no specific subject that stands out—other than sharing your true authentic self with the admission committee. Our job is to get you know you as an individual, tell us about who you are and what is important to you. With many revisions on college essays, make sure your voice doesn’t get lost. Pass your essay to a sibling, other family members, or to a close friend and ask, “Does this sound like me?” I look forward to learning more about you through your essay soon!
