I grew up just blocks from USC and my mother still lives in the area. I definitely enjoy the end of work day when I can just walk over and have dinner in her home. I was a rebellious teenager that decided going all the way across the country was best for me at the time. I always knew I would come back. USC has been a part of my education since I was in 1st grade. I have experience working in college access for underrepresented student populations and look forward to reading applications for USC. I’m finally part of the Trojan Family, FIGHT ON!
I am always amazed by the challenges USC students are willing to take on in a collaborative environment. I think USC is the place for students who know how to be scholars but also take full advantage of campus resources. Students here learn how to balance going to class, doing homework, and then maybe going to a concert or a football game.
