- Optional Admission Presentation for First-Year Students (30 minutes)
- Campus Tour (90 minutes)
Campus walking tours give prospective students and their families a look into the life of USC students, including academics, campus resources, residential life, athletics and much more. Tours are led by current undergraduate students who share their stories while presenting an overview of the university.
Each campus tour is preceded by an optional, half-hour presentation from one of our admission counselors, covering undergraduate admission and financial aid at USC. Transfer applicants who wish to listen to an admission presentation are encouraged to sign up for our weekly Transfer Information Sessions.
Tours are not offered on Saturdays and Sundays. If you would like to visit campus on these days, please call (213) 740-6605 to have a self-guided tour map mailed to you, or download the Self-Guided Tour.
School Group Tours
Four tours per day on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours are available Monday–Friday. Reservations are required and can be made by calling our Tour Guides at (213) 740-6605.
- Campus Tour (45 minutes)

Our group tours can typically be accommodated at 9:00 am, 12:15 pm and 3:45 pm. most weeks Monday-Friday. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
All group tours will be reduced throughout March and April to accommodate our other campus visit programs.
Dining on Campus:
Groups are welcome bring their own lunches or purchase food from one of our on-campus eateries.
USC does not allow buses to park on campus. Buses must enter through Entrance 6 (located at Vermont Avenue and 36th Place), proceed down 36th Place/Downey Way until you reach Watt Way. Make a right on Watt Way and unload your bus in front of Vivian Hall on the southwest corner of the intersection.
After you have unloaded, the bus driver should travel south on Watt Way, exit campus through Entrance 1 and proceed to bus parking at Exposition Park (enter at Figueroa Street and 39th Street). Parking costs $30 per day, or $12 per day if your group is also visiting the California Science Center.
Housing Tour Information
Please note that we are unable to offer visits to our housing facilities during these tours. To maintain our students’ safety and security, access to residence halls is electronically monitored and restricted to current residents and their registered guests. While we understand this may be disappointing – we know residence hall life is an important part of the undergraduate experience – we hope you will respect our students’ privacy and safety. We believe families appreciate knowing this same protection would be extended to their own students. For more information, and to explore our housing options, please visit the USC Housing website.
